October 8th Service Unit Meeting
Introductions of service unit members
School Night Results: very good turnout. We had enough girls and adults to form 10 new troops. We still have a few girls we need to place. Had over 100 girls interested.
Bronze/Silver/Gold Training with Beth Pucket is Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Williamson Chapel. Will be in the parlor.
First Aid/CPR Training will be done by Beth Pucket. Can sign up for CPR Only, which needs to be renewed every year. First Aid every 3 years.
Camporee: Going Green Camporee at Camp Ginger Cascades will be on November 20 – 21. Dolores McKettrick will send out information again via email
Christmas Parade in Mooresville: November 24th at 3pm. Will need to line up around 2 at the funeral home on Main St. Beth Puckett will have details next meeting. Patches will be available AFTER the parade.
Recognitions: Evelyn Hackney presented new troop leaders with a small gift. She will have pins for them in November.
Fall Fundraiser Update: Dolores McKettrick gave updated info on phone number (704-662-3990) and correct spelling of her name. Just a few more days for the sale, push the magazine sales. If you’re having any problems, call Dolores.
Council Updates: Kim has new email: kstikeleather@girlscoutsp2p.org. Please stay patient while they are transitioning. If you have registrations, etc make sure you send to Hickory Office. If you send paperwork to Council Office in Colfax, be sure to put MOORESVILLE at the top of paperwork. Do not use the service unit number.
Cookie training will be in December.
