Philly Pretzel Factory:

The girls will be given a very informative tour of the facilities and an opportunity to twist pretzels themselves.  Cost of the approximately one hour tour at Philly Pretzel Factory was $4.00 per girl.  This also included a pretzel snack and drink for them and a small gift bag with fun items and discount coupons for a return trip.  Please contact George, Jill, or Diane to make arrangements for your tour.  They are located in Mooresville Crossing on River Highway.  Phone is 704-657-2546.

Bank of America

Brownies can do a Penny Power Try It at Bank of America.

Race Teams

Living here in Mooresville, we have the advantage of touring a number of race teams.  Maybe one of your parents are involved in the industry.  It's a great way for the girls to look at a number of different career opportunities in the S.T.E.M. programs!!

Art

Mooresville has some great artists living here.  You can visit Al Tillis Pottery downtown.  He will help the girls create a bowl from a piece of clay.  Then they can glaze and fire it!  A great experience to "throw" a piece on the wheel.

Check out the galleries downtown:  Cotton Ketchie has some great work to show you and his process.  The Art Depot has classes and a great children's instructor, Shelly Zulli.  Call them and arrange a tour/classes!  The Quilter's Loft has sewing classes for the girls and they love to have them come in.

Post Office

Girls can take a tour of the post office and see how the mail is sorted and who carries their mail!  Call or stop by the post office to arrange a time.
